The Department of Energy and Climate Change announce trial of Loglogic's Softrak 120 Harvester

The department of energy and climate change are now well into the final phase of the Wetland Biomass to Bioenergy project, whilst the remaining participants are consolidating plans and ideas, they have still found innovation in the Loglogic Softrak 120 Harvester. 

Over the last two weeks they have been trialling the Softrak 120 across some of the challenging wetlands in the Somerset Levels and Moors.

Sally Mills, of the department of energy and climate change, said "The indications are this machine, together with the larger Pisten Bully, will provide wetland managers with the tools they need to harvest difficult biomass."
