A little something you weren't necessarily looking for...
Where it all started
Before the Softrak, there was Bigtrak.
Back in 1994, Loglogic was developing a rather large idea in Devon: a tracked machine capable of carrying serious weight over ground that ordinary vehicles would rather avoid.
And, well... it worked.
Difficult ground
Mud, slopes, wetlands and places with questionable access.

Because apparently getting there wasn't enough.
Adaptability
Cranes, access platforms and all sorts of clever ideas.
THE EARLY YEARS
Then people started getting ideas.
Once you have a machine that can get into difficult places, someone inevitably asks:
"I wonder if we could put a crane on it?"
Then an access platform. Then something else. Before long, the Bigtrak had become rather good at being whatever the job required.

The Bigtrak wasn't content with simply carrying things. It could lift them too.

And then it went up.
Bigtrak meets Versalift — proving that difficult access doesn't necessarily mean difficult height.
Over the years, the machine found itself doing some rather interesting jobs.
