Building on proven wetland management performance in Fens and uplands, the Softrak 140 incorporates an extended chassis, widened undercarriage, and high-output power plant. Designed specifically for contractors managing vast and demanding territories, it delivers 30 percent higher capacity to handle intensive harvesting and industrial attachments without sacrificing ground pressure sensitivity.
Constructed from high-strength steels to maximise structural integrity while minimising gross weight, the machine undergoes rigorous shot blasting, molten zinc metal spraying, and polyester powder coating to withstand aggressive terrain and corrosive environments.
The Stage V 3.6-litre Deutz TCD engine delivers 140 hp through a heavy-duty Linde hydrostatic transmission, while the standard front linkage (700 kg lift capacity) and optional hydraulic PTO — up to 135 l/min at 420 bar — allow heavy-duty mulchers and harvesting attachments to be driven directly from the carrier. The hydraulically tipped rear body and 12 m³ chip bin keep the load centred over the tracks, maintaining even weight distribution and low ground pressure even when fully laden.
*Please Note: Some attachments will require additional configuration to the base machine.
