Product Description

The award-winning GT300 Rotary Rig is a specialised track-based mobile platform designed for undertaking dynamic sampling and rotary drilling on extreme slopes such as dams, railway embankments, and motorway cuttings. The working platform and drilling mast feature automated levelling in both planes to ensure safe, stable operation on steep inclines and side slopes.

Its steel tracks are fitted with single grouser pads to achieve deep ground penetration and maximum grip on steep slopes up to 45 degrees, backed by an integrated 7,500 kg (16,500 lb) winch for added security on critical sites. The mast is fitted with a sliding tool system with rotary drill head, the Loglogic Standard Penetration Tester, and a hydraulic breaker.

The GT300 uses radio control for travelling, winch operation, and platform levelling overrides. Once in position, fold-down walkways and the drilling mast deploy to create a secure, level working area. When used with the GT150 support vehicle, a safe elevated work platform (EWP) is provided.
